For Mrs Stevens.
Take four scruples of Soluble Tarter three ounces of Lemon Juice or sufficient to requirements; four ounces of Rose Water One ounce each of Simple Cinnamon Water and Antimonial Wine half an ounce of Simple Syrup Label: Diaphoretic Mixture. Let her take a spoon every night at bed time during the month of August two or three times in succession.
Take three ounces of Soluble Tartar half an ounce of Spanish Sea Salt and six ounces of Spring Water three ounces of Spirit of Cinnamon water dissolve and strain. Label: Aperient Solution. Let her take two spoons with half a pound of Spring Water every morning.
Take two ounces of Tincture of Volatile Valerian Label: Nervous Tincture. Let her take two spoons with Peppermint Water or two spoons - when {illeg} the heat of the stomach is troublesome.
With the above medicines fresh air & gentle exercise - in a
Carriage -- Walking sometimes & little at a time &c.
Diet. avoid almost entirely Animal food, & take what milk
grain & Vegetables her stomach easily digests. - Drink plain Water
no Wine nor Malt liquors ---
