Dr Thomas Gillespie at Air Query Mr Crauford

I am happy you agree with me. I am of the same opinion
still, only that I think his stomach so much better by his
Pulse being so much settled, & by his bearing pressure upon
his stomach better. But, as his thirst continues the
high colour & scarcity of his urine & his [agreewing?] so
well with acids do not allow me to think that his sto¬
mach
is yet free from some Phlogistic affection. I see no
no reason to change measures, & I would rather increase
the dose of the Elixir of Virtiol. I depend much upon his
air & exercise & I would still continue to urge the proprie¬
ty of a journey, & for that he should be always increasing the length of his airings. The blistering on the stomach
was very proper & has I dare say done service & it may
possibly be repeated with advantage. No new medicine
both because I know none likely, & because it would
encourage him in putting of his journey.
