Dear Sir


I was favoured with your return to mine
of the 27th to day. Yester night when I saw Mrs Arnot
she complained much of her headach with a
greater degree of nausea & gave her a little of
the Tartar Solution & in half an hour their after
she vomited a good dale of Bile after drinking
a little grott greuel she vomited more. We applied
the bread & milk to her soles & a gentle moisture
came on
which was universal & relieved her
much she has had no complaints of her head since
Sleept pretty well, the pulse 84 the Urine well colored
with out uneasiness at Voiding it or frequent Desire
as Yesterday. In case of any return of the headach
I shall repeat the solution tho in a smaller quantity

When the sweat goes of the heat returns
and headach Mrs Arnot is rather an old woman
vere thein and vere temperate. if their is
ought Sir you can think of that can be
of the leas↑t↑ consequence it is intreated as
the highest favour you wil be so good
as writ it. we are afraid she lose
strenth
by these forced sweatings

I just now Received the answer to yours of
28th August. I beg youl write what further can be done
[for?] Mrs Arnot my mother in Law by the bearer {illeg}
express & returns derectly. I will wait of you
on Wedensday first betwixt 12 & 1 Oclock & pay for
the trouble you have been at till then I am being
in haste
