For Mrs Mary Grey
Let her take an Emetic made from powdered Ipecacuanha, on drinking an Infusion of Mustard. Apply an Emplastrum blister between the shoulders and use epispastic ointment to aggravate the site of the ulcerations.
Take one drachm of Asafoetida and four ounces of Spring Water. Dissolve and sieve, then add one ounce of Cinnamon water tea, half an ounce of Acet. Scillitic, one ounce of rectified Succinic Salt, and one ounce of Syrup of Balsam, and mix. Label: The Pectoral mixture, two spoonfulls to be taken twice a day.
