For Mr George Hall
Take five grains of prepared Powdered steel, five grains of Cinnamon and ten grains of very hard white sugar, and let there be made twenty-eight doses. Label as Stomachic Powders to be taken as usual one twice a day. After each dose two tablespoons of the following.
Take four ounces of Tincture of Peruvian bark, six ounces of simple cinnamon Water and six ounces of Peppermint. Mix and label Stomachic Tincture.
Take two drachms of a mass of aloetick Pills and divide it in twenty-four pills. Label as Laxative Pills one or two to be taken at bed time when costiveness requires it.
