For Mr. Andrew Shennan Stranraer

As the Pills (see p. 145.). agreed well with your Stomach
I think you should take another course of them, beginning
with two & increase gradually as before -- I am still doubtful
of a Mercurial Course & rather advise a Course of Goat whey
preventing costiveness by taking as much of the following in a
muchkin of Goat whey as may give you one Stool at any time
when necessary.

Take one ounce of Tartar Salt, one ounce of Glauber's Salt, two ounces of Spanish sea Salt, two ounces of polycrest Salts, six ounces of spring water and two ounces of simple cinnamon water. Dissolve and strain. Label: Aperient Solution - one, two or three tablespoons.

If you get strength in this way & your ailments continue will may
perhaps think of a Mercurial Course.
