Mr. James Cochrane
I had the honour of yours yesterday and am
happy to find that your Nephew Mr James is
no worse and therefore that I have nothing new
to advise. The pains of his hands and feet are
I hope not so severe as to require a remedy and
I don't well understand the nature of them
whether like Cramps or Rheumatism.
I have read over my Lord Dundonalds
letter and am of your opinion that his Lordship
does not clearly understand the Case and therefore
I cannot pay much regard to the Advise given
at London and which does not appear to me
on any supposition to be very skilful.
I had the honour to write to his Lordship
last week and gave him Mr. Woods and my own
opinion of his Sons disease and if his Lordship
should be pleased upon that information to

take [the time to Send it?] I shall be glad to have it.
