For Mrs. Watt


1 A troublesome circumstance in Mrs. Watts
complaints is the soreness of her Nose which is not only
troublesome in itself but is chiefly the occasion of
all the trouble she has about her head. On this account
I have sent an ointment with a little of which she
is to annoint the edges and a little of the inside
of her nostrills
every night and morning.


2 For the soreness of her mouth I have sent
the same materials for a gargle as before to be
prepared and used in the same manner as before


3 I have likewise sent a quantity of the
Stomachic tincture
to be used in the same manner
as before.


4 I have likewise sent a {illeg} Balsam to be
used for anointing her back and other pained

5 Let her take every morning as much fresh
drawn Cow milk whey as her stomach easily digests.


6 Let her avoid taking fish of any kind or any
kind of salted meats
