Mr A. Gair Concerning Mr Hall.
Dear Sir.
I am sorry I cannot give you a favorable opinion
of Mr G. Halls case. I am persuaded there are schirrosities in the
Viscera which are always difficult to remove. The only advice I
can offer is to keep his belly open by Soluble Tartar while his pains
are kept easy by by the Elixir last prescribed or by the plain Tinctura
Thebaica. I think the case cannot last long. --
