For Dr Ogilvys Friend
Take half a drachm each of flowers of camphor, steel, extract of [soft?] Peruvian bark, and a sufficient quantity of Gum Tragacanth, and make a mass divided into single pills of five grains. Label: Antispasmodic Pills.
Take one ounce of powdered Peruvian bark, two drachms of green vitriol, six ounces of conserve of roses, and a sufficient quantity of simple syrup and make an electuary. Label: Strengthening Electuary.
Take one drachm each of prepared steel filings, powdered cinnamon and white sugar. Mix into a powder and divide into 24 doses. Label: Chalybeate Powders.
