Miss A. Innes Concerning her Sister

Expecting to hear from Dr Brodie --
[Still?] clear her complaints not consumptive

As her ailments are accompained with so many
Nervous Symptoms distressing her in the night I
think gentle Opiates might be of Service but
I leave it to Dr B. - Let his Expectorant Mixture
be continued - When her spitting is considerable &
her lungs seem to be affected with defluxion
Applicetur Vesic. inter Scap. 1

As to her Agueish fits I leave these to
the Drs Brodie

Notes:

1: 'Apply a blister between the shoulders'.
