Mrs Kerr of Abbotrule --
Take half a drachm of Camphor and a scruple of Salts of Nitre. Having added several little drops of rectified alcohol, rub to a powder, then add one-and-a-half of the best Asafœtida and enough Simple Syrup as to make a mass to be divided into individual pills of five grains. Label: Cephalic Pills two to be taken every night at bedtime
