Mr James Hutton at Torry burn.

It is possible that the fit of fever you had on Wednesday and
Thursday last may be of service in relieving you from the feve¬
rish fits
you had formerly every night. If the present fe¬
verishness
continue, I cannot advise without knowing the circum¬
stances more exactly. You must trust to somebody in Torry
burn or Dunfermling or make them write to me. If the fever
of Wednesday be quite off, & your Pulse quite settled in the
morning, you may take the Electuary & Tincture I formerly ad¬
vised but may take them 4 times aday. This with riding every
day will I hope restore you.
