To Dr Wood. about Lord Gray.


Gentle vomits now & then


In the intervals - Jalap & Mercury –– but the
Mercury cannot be often repeated. - & the Pulvis
[&?] Jallappo
Composition Edinburgh Pharmacopia maybe employed freely
but if operates harshly - a double or triple quantity
the Tart. so as to obtain if possible a Diuretic effect
As much excercise as possible


Any kind of food - but little liquid - not
excluding Wine - Madeira or Good Sherry or a
glass of punch but within narrow bounds –
His feet & legs rubbed every morning & in the
morning only. with flannel or a ↑flesh↑ brush
Little walking - & to avoid cold & Wet.
