At the desire of Mrs Cunison I
give you the trouble of this, who is anxious to
have your Advice for her Mother Mrs. Birrell
She has been long distressed with a Cough and
difficulty of Breathing upon either motion
or exercise-- For which she ↑took↑ the Pil. Scillitic.
& whey very restless & uneasie some gutts of Tincture
Thebaic at bed time, these commonly gave her
relief.--- About a week ago she was Seized
with a pain in her Shoulder & Side & the Cough
& breathlessness worse, with a hard pulse, She
was blooded at the arm, that gave her ease
& She was better, till Saturday last, when her
pains & Cough returned, for two days past She
has been feverish, & was blooded again yester¬
day, and being Costive She took an Infusion
of Senna & Tamarinds this morning, which
answered very well, & there is a gentle Dia¬
phoresis on her Skin, which has taken off a
good deal of the fever, only the Cough is Still
troublesom to her, She is taking the Mixt Oleos.
