it is with the Depest Regret I find my
Self Obliged to truble you once more upon the Subject of my Obsti¬
nat Complaint which I am afraid is more Confirmed by the
Sea and fresh Water Bath, than Removed, for ever since Mr.
Wood Advised me to ply the Sea Bathing and the fresh Water
at Home, the Pain in the Urethra is Considerably Incressed
when I make Water (which is very frequent) tho' it has Stopd
the Running in some measure – Therefor in my Judgement all
Bathing will Confirm, reather than Remove the Virulent In¬

Night upon the Ejection of the Semen in the Act of Injoyment
which gave me great Pain is to me a Demenstration that the
Virulent Matter, Or Ulser, is still lurking in the Urethra and
untill that is Removed by Mercury my Cure will never be Ra¬
dically Compleated, tho' Mr Wood holds it so light ––
I therefor beg as a freind youl Consider my melancholy Case
Seriously and give me your Advice how to Act, if to Continue
