Sir,

I took all your Prescription in about 10 Days, which
seems to be efficacious for what it was intended.
I was when very young (not lately) too liable to nocturnal
Emissions
- which never poluted any but self - or for my
own sake I would tell you. But that was ↑not↑ my whole
Disorder. I was still liable to a dropping or oozing of clear
water during the Medicine. & since especially after a
Breakfast of Bohea Tea & my Morning Pipe, which
causes a warmth when I sit down not much otherwise.
I wash the parts every Morning. I work in the Garden often
& after sweating a little that partial Perspiration leaves me
for a While. My Water is clear now - by Chance that
purulent Matter comes from the Penis after a stool.
I keep myself from being offensive by clean cotton drawers
once a Week, but I fear, growing Worse. -
I had no time to enquire about Diet &c. I take any thing in
a Temperate Way - Good Malt Liqueur has always agreed well
with my Constitution & Wine sometimes. If anything is
particularly for or against me Constitution please to mention ↓it↓.

[Page 2]

I shall be much obliged to you for a letter by the return of the Post &
shall thank you for it when I come to Town. I am sorry, on Doctor Sharp's
account, Mr. Elliott should be so stingy where Heath was concerned -
his Income is as good as mine about 100 a year - & I shall think myself
Rich when clear of this disorder. I am under no fear of any Bad Impu¬
tation to my Case in this Neighbourhood - [their?] Pitty I hope I have not often
I have been very healthy & am so now except -- I have been 16 years at
Doctor Sharps. I hope you can Write soon I am Good Sir Your
