My father haveing been very in¬
different in his health this winter, Mrs Mutter
thinks it proper to aply to you for your opinion
by this time you are pretty well acquainted with
his constitution, as far as I am capable I shall give
you an account of the state he is and has been in
he is much subject to a looseness some times too a
great degree for eight or ten days together then
after a fortnight intermission retrunes again
last night he was seized with a severe fit which
I dont know how to denominate he complaines
of no pain the right side of his head is affected
and the left arm it is the same side of his
head that he had the great trouble in it is
attended ↑with↑ a difficulty in swallowing, the features
of [his?] face is altered
a little and his speech quite
gone that he cannot uter a syllable but yes or
no, about a fortnight ago he had a retrun of the
above complaint, to a very great hight for 24
hours but he has been regular a nufe since look¬
ing well and in good spirits till suddenly
he was seized he retaines his memory and
senses as yet for any thing we can see
Mrs Mutter beges you will write by retrun
of post as we are all anxious to know your
opinion you need not mention it to any
