Mr Inglis of Murdiston, some
days ago sent me a receipt of yours to make
him up a Laxative Electuary which I did
at same time he desired me to ask you if
you thought it proper that he should
continue the use of Injections by the Penis
the one he was using was a weak solution of
the Sugar of Lead (about one grain to the
ounce) with a few drops of Laudanum in
it He wants to know if [he?] {illeg} [to continue?]
you approve of this or if you would propose
any other I am
your humble servant
