I am informed by Mr. Boyer that you
have been good enough to take notes of one,
on the recommendation of Miss Annie Pillane
which I have every grateful sense of.
I am pretty well at present, but as I
am sometimes seized all of sudden when
in a state of perfect health, it would be
laying the highest obligation on me If
you would please to prescribe me someth↑thing↑
that might prevent a relapse.
I suppose that Miss Pillane would
inform you that it is a violent pain in
my Stomach that I complain of, which
at times flies in to my back and sides,
If you are kind enough to prescribe me
a proper remedy it shall always be
gratefully acknowledged by me, besides
paying any thing that you shall think
[Page 2]
necessary to charge for your trouble.
My Mother presents her affectionate compliments
to you and family; and I hope that you will believe
that I am with the utmost gratitude and respect
Sir,
your much obliged, and most
humble servant
