My Daughter Fannie Brownlee waited on
you week before Last to get advice for a soar eye she
has fowlloued your Directions punctualy in using the
ointment & Liquid but it makes very Little progress
towards making better it indeed opens pretty freely
in the morning & has discharged a Little matter for
two or three days past but ↑the↑ eye continous weak and
Painfull at times she Lastes still red & a little swelld
& now & then some small strains of inflammation
on the Ball of the eye I am very Anxious about
it as it seems to be in ↑a↑ weakly Condition will therefore
take it exceeding kind if you would write me if
she should Continue the ointment or if you think
there is any ↑thing↑ els would be more effectuale to Restore
the eye with safely to the sight as I am inirely
depending upon your good advice in this matter having
Reapt so much benefeet from it before begs you will
be so good as favour me with an Answer to be sent
by Post Directed to Mrs Brownlee Lanark

My Daughter Fannie Brownlee waited on
