Sir
I wrote you an Apology when I first came
here for not waiting on you before I left Dalkeith which
I should have done with pleasure but for the reasons
I gave you in my letter, I have left of taking your Pre¬
cription for the complaint in my Bladder as I find
myself better. I have taken your Prescription for the com¬
plaint in my Bowels three different times I continued
it each time till I found myself as I thought cured
but after being easy for about a Fort'night each time my
complaint came on again and is now as bad as ever
if you ↑can↑ think of any thing that will be of more service to
me should be glad you would Prescribe for me, I will wither
desire a Friend to pay you now or will myself pay you
when I come to Edinburgh, I am
Sir
Your very Humble Servant
Richard Rose
Cornet in Kings Dragn.Dragoon Guards Guards
PS
The complaint in my
Bladder is better but
not entirely removed
as I continue to make
water much oftener than
other People
