Sir
From the 15. Current till yesterday Miss Aytoun con¬
tinued to gain strength; all her former complaints
were greatly mitigated some of them had totally
disappeared -- The Looseness has recurred &
she says put her out of bed six or seven times
during the night. The sweatings mentioned in
my last now come in the morning ↑&↑ are very
profuse & she says at the time of this approach
& during their continuance she feels cold.
Her Mouth, Tongue & Throat are slightly blister
ed - The hoarseness recurred last night & continu¬
ed about an hour during which time her voice
could not ↑be↑ heard distinctly -- She Coughed a little
[Page 2]
this morning -- Dyspnœa & pain at Breast very
inconsiderable.
Pulse about 80 skincool - Thirst gone
Appetite tollerable - she sleeps toll a little in
the night.
I have again had recourse to the
Anodyne Mixture & have desired Miss Aytoun
to use a flannel Shift - The Exercise in
the Carriage is continued daily I have
the honour to subscribe myself
Dear Sir
Your much obliged &
Obedient Servant
