The anxiety of the Family for
Captain Grey made me at their request
write again to acquaint you that
Scince my last the Captain has got
a Great Distention of the abdomen
I impute it entirely to his being orderd
his Ale again as I inform'd you in my
last. I can no fluctuation of water
as yet but expects it. & he is so debilitatd
that the operation of Tapping would be
in vain. He complains already of an
uneasiness & tightness near his chest.
I doubt all will be in vain. We still hope
you may think on something further
to be Done at least it will please.

I am with all due respect
