To Docter Cullon Concerning Mr Strachan
The Bathing has been used since the 23th July
in the way orderd by Docter Cullon, for the
first four days Pouring it on his head from
a tea Kettle, & after that, by large Quantities
from basons, to which he makes no Resistance
& it would be easy to get it done in any other
way Docter Cullon might think Proper to order
The first week he was quiet & Moderate, for three
days very High & Noisy & since that High but
more Pleasd & happy, takes Notice of what he
sees doing & will ask concerning it days after,
The state of his sleep has been very bad
Many nights sleeping none & the most he has
sleept not above three or four hours, got the
Pills as orderd evry night but Continuing to
sleep so ill has not used them for two nights
Past – He never tasts any sort of Animal
food but has been keept on the Diet & Drinks
what Docter Cullon orderd.
Inceas that Docter Cullon May think the Chamber
bath the most Proper, Mr Strachan is just now
at a [retird?] Place of the Countrie where it could
not be so Conveniantly had, but if bathing him
altogether in a Large Tub might be Proper it
[Page 2]
Could be got done & as he returns home before
Winter a Chamber bath will be got for him if
Docter Cullon aproves
