For Mrs Dunlop Concerning Miss Jeanie Hamilton.
Is she feverish at the times of the attacks of the [Rose?]?
were the parts affected with much redness and inflammation
How long did the swelling continue after the inflammation
was gone? and if the swelling pitted?
Is the Drowsiness connected with the attacks of the Rose
and to what degree it proceeds. ------
In the mean time apply a Blister to her head which
will answer better than to her Back.
Let her use the full simple Electuary two or three times
a week if it operates easily.
Take one ounce of Crystal tartar, a drachm and a half of powdered {illeg}, half an ounce of lenitive Electuary and a sufficient quantity of simple syrup. Label: Laxative Electuary. A tea spoonful or two for a dose in the morning.
