Continue her daily riding which I hope will do
her more good now the weather is cooler but

against colder weather she must put on warm cloaths.


Enter upon the Chalybeate advised below, increasing
afterwards if it agree well, to ten or even 15 grains.


In the afternoon two hours after dinner & especially
when the pains of stomach begins take ten grains of
Columbo root powder made into a bolus &c. This
too may afterwards be increased to 15 or 20 grains.
In want of Columbo, use half-a-drachm of powdered bark with
five grains of serpent. virginiana ---


Apply regular with an Aleotic pill of five or ten grains
at bed time.


Pediluvia at night for half an hour before going to bed.
I am averse to opiates to procure sleep but let me
know if you have tried them.

Take Filings. Mix &c. Five grains. See former cases. Washing down with a cupful of the following;

Take two drachms of bruised Orange peel and a drachm of bruised Cinammon Bark; a scruple of ground Ginger; Add a pound of Spring water; let it be macerated overnight and to the strained liquid add an ounce of Tincture of Peruvian Bark and half-and-ounce of Aromatic Ticture. Label: etc. It s also to be taken after every dose of the Columbo.
