Letter from James McAdam, concerning the case of two patients 'I would have spoken of yesterday'. One is 'a young woman past the bloom of youth', who has been subject to spasms of agitation, suffocation and swoons after a fever. The other is a young male weaver who has painful swellings on his wrist which prevent him working. The pain and swelling 'encreases at the full of the Moon', and have been treated by blistering. | 11 December 1788 | |||
