a M.r G. is in the 30.th year of his age
b Lately much Spirits & Water & strong
c He has had no regular fit ↑of the Gout since he has frequently had flying pains
similar to Gouty ones.
d When he is quite sober, is very capable of going thro' any kind of business
but is timid of engaging with any till quite sober (↑cool↑), being one of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace, & very much applyed to as such. ------

Along with the prescriptive method you'll advise, be pleased to dictate
the dietic one &c. &c. ---- --------------------
