Mr Knott Concerning Mrs Knott. vid. p. 92 & 79.

Sorry to find her complaints continue, when I expected they would have been
relieved by her being with Child - & unlucky as in this situation
she cannot use remedies & particularly the necessary exercise --

The pains at the bottom of her belly & which she she had even before
she was with child should not prevent her going abroad in a Carriage
but the pains of her back & the feeling of any thing like labor
pains must give more caution & if the carriage increases these her
exercise must be entirely laid aside -- For the complaints in her
head I think the Elixirs I formerly prescribed; may be usefull
but it cannot be used with the same freedom as when she was not
with child & more especially if still troubled with costiveness,
if so this is so it must be prevented from going too far & the Pills
I formerly ordered may be used; but not so freely as before &
in place of them I recommend Castor Oil -- -- Or a few This with
a little Spirit - or with a fourth part or third of the Elixir
Salutis
Pharmacopoeia Edimburgensis which is better than the plain Spirit

As to the Hare bit by a mad dog - it can be of no consequence
