For Miss Mackenzie

The only medicine I can advise is the following
which I hope will relieue her throat and compose
her Nerves

Take four ounces of simple cinnamon Water, two ounces of Peppermint, one ounce each of Vinegar distillate and Syrup of cloves and one drachm of Nitrous Salt. Mix. Label: Composing Mixture, a tablespoonful three or four times in the Course of twenty four hours.

Nothing more necessary for Miss M. than the taking
of some solid food & she should attempt it at dinner
time every day.- A bit of any thing she likes best, but
the lighter the better as Chicken fowl lamb. Tripe
Sweatbread -- When her appetite is very bad let her
she must supply the want of solid food by a little
Strong broth Calves feet Jelly, or Sago Sago or Panada
with either of these last she may always haue a
little Sherry -- Ordinary drink Wine and Water
and Sherry the best wine for this

When she can take a little solid food, she may
take a little plain wine after it and even at other
times when she is low and faintish she may have
a little wine, but this always as seldom as possible
