For Mr Blane

As to Regimen I leave it to your own discretion. Milk might
recruit you; but I am afraid of its increasing your Costiveness &
to avoid this drink Whey in the morning eat fruits &c -- but
if Diet does not obviate Costiveness try the Castor Oil - if it should
not answer try Crem. Tartar; but avoid Andersons or ↑other↑ Pills with
Aloes -- you may continue the Bark for a little; but if you
get an Appetite and find your strength come on, give it over.
