For Ensign Gordon

Must not do duty for some time ------ but live in the Country
& take frequently gentle Exercise and fresh air. ------


A Midling Diet. - Avoid cold &c. & use the Medicine ordered
below. --- After some time he may be talked to about the Army

Take two ounces of Soluble Tartar, half an ounce of polychrest Salt, six ounces of spring ater, two ounces of simple cinnamon water. Mix and strain. Label Aperient Solution, two or three table Spoonfulls in a muchkin of Spring Water. ------
