Mr Murray concerning Miss Ayton
Dear Sir

I find it difficult to catch Miss Ayton's symptoms pro¬
perly
one day no cough and next day a great deal and this
equally puzzels me in advising. If the cough is frequent and
prevents sleep you must again try the opiate which if she takes
fairly will certainly quiet both cough and looseness. I have no¬
thing further to say at present but that if Miss Ayton does
not observe a proper regimen no medicine can be of service
to her. The particulars you mention are certainly most impro¬
per.

I am, sir, yours &c.
