For Mr Beaumont's Child.

Take 2½ ounces of Rosewater, an ounce of Antimonial Wine, and 5 drachms of Simple Syrup. Mix. Label: Diaphoretic Mixture a tea spoonful every night & morning
N. If this dose appear to make the Child sick it may be a little
diminished, but if it do not make the child sick at all, it may
be increased to what the Stomach easily bears.

Take a pint of spring water and half an ounce of Tincture of Mars. Mix. Label: Detergent water. With this not quite cold, the parts where the Eruption is fresh may be bathed a little, once or twice a day.


The White powder may be continued once a week.
Continue the Ointment, applying it to the itching parts
but the frequent or large use of it should be avoided.

Except in very cold weather, or those days he takes the
White powder he may be carried into the Air.
Two or three times a week he may have a
little weak tea with a little bread at dinnertime
