Miss Aiton

I am quite satisfied that the Castor oil will not [do with?]
you, & I have no doubt, but the pills may be employed at other
times as well as at those I ordered, but only this must be
observed that if you take them seldom, you may take them as
they are, but if you have occasion to take them very often
you must have such pills as I have orderd below
& the pills you have already must be reserved for the
occasion I proposed before –– I am sorry to find your Issue
give you so much trouble, and I will not desire you to
bear it any longer, but somewhat of that kind is necessary
& I advise a pea Issue to be put into the arm on the same side
with the pain. In all other matters I beg you may proceed as before.

For Miss Aiton

A drachm each of Socotrine Aloes and Gentian Extract, fifteen grains of Polychrest Salts, Gum Arabic paste &c. – Label: Laxative Pills one or two for a dose &c ––––
