Mr Campbell sent into Glasgow this morning
to learn whether I had heard from you or not – I wrote him that
the Post had been robbed of the whole mail, and that if you
had written in course, your letter must have been lost – I find
he is very anxious, so I thought it proper to drop you this line
to beg of you to write again, by to morrow night, as I am
affraid it may be some time hence if ever that your letter of
last night (if you have written) ↑will↑ make its appearance
I am Sir
your most Obedient Servant
