Letter from Robert Dow, concerning the daughter of Nicolas Delassize of New Orleans. He wrote the first account of her case in May of 1783, but amended it in June of 1784 and subsequently. He travelled with M. Delassize to Bordeaux, and was concerned at the lack of expertise of the doctors in Paris that his friends had seen. He goes on to describe methods popular with the French and Spanish. Dow thinks she may have worms.
