Letter from Cullen's former student, Dr Thomas Wells, concerning his own case and its progress 'since I was favor'd with your Letter about four years ago'. The milk diet Cullen advised upsets his digestion. He is still suffering from spasms in his feet before he goes to sleep, 'as if I had receiv'd a violent Blow from a large Club', and breast, giving him a feeling of 'a stricture & Sensation as if the Sternum was compress'd to the Vertebræ'. He passes on compliments from Dr Warren.
