On Sunday last I began the Medicines- I have Con¬
tinued the Constantly as directed, since
have neither tasted tea, Malt Licquor, Wine, or Any other
Liquid but Toast & water, for ordinary drink, & a little
Milk & water, in the Mornings

The only Alteration I Observe, has been almost
perpetuall headachs, & a very Uneasy fullness
& Load, in my stomach - no appatite, &
my sleep not Quiet, & much broken, by Palpitation
which I think has been ↑of late↑ most Constantly in the
Nights == No Costiveness has yet been so much
as to render laxatives Necessary- But I began to
fear it coming, to that Necessity-

Laudanum was once tryed three different times
with me - by Dr D. Skeene - but tho the Doses was En¬
creased from 30. to 60. drops, it Neither Procured rest
or Quiet - & was never tryed since

The Medicines shall be Continued & I shall be more able to say
with what benefite. Some days hence &c
