September 80

About the Midle of December last, I was attacked
with a Fever, and Flux - Which was at that time
a comon Complaint, all over this Country --
It confined me to Bed, for ten days - & left me
Weak & languid for several Weeks -

The Flux has returned at differant times - I
have had five or six attacks of it - for some
hours - & once for 24. Violently - & at this most
severe & lasting attack Considerably Mixed
with Blood
-

About the End of Aprill or begining of May -
an Evacuation that has Much distressed me
came on - And has never been altogether
Absent since - tho at times More, or less severe
It has been Mostly attended with pain in the
lower Part of the Back - Restlessness, & want
of sleep in the Nights
- for some weeks past

[Page 2]

I have had an Uneasy pain in the left side
stricking through from the left Breast to the shoulder,

The Regular Periodical Evacuation, has
been as Usewell & as I have remarked that
the pain in my side is relieved by riding on
Horse back, tho nevar Intirely Unfelt -

I haue for some months, found My self Much
Enervated; And an oppression on My spirits
which I find worse, or Better, in Proportion
to my want of sleep, & other distressing Com¬
plaints
