Sir

Miss Harrison who now consults you
is and has ever been naturally rather of
of a Delicate Constitution, perhaps pro¬
ceeding from a sort of Slight Scorbutic
acrimony
, every now & then showing
itself by Chapt lips, little craks in the Nostrills,
with now & then small bleedings from the Nose
- at other times Her Ears were a little exco¬
riated with also small Eruptions in other
parts of her body, but never to any great
Extent wherever the External appearances
showed themselves ––––– To obviate those
inconveniences and to render the texture of
of her blood more substantial, She has at
different times and as ocassion required
taken the Bark with Elix Vitr –– Decoct

[Page 2]

Sarsa
with the Vin. Antonomial –– has lived in
the Country in a free Air, where she exercised
properly ––– Drank Asses milk, and in the
proper Seasons used Sea Bathing –––––––

Towards the Close of Autumn or beginning
of Winter Her complaints have usually
returned more or Less –––– Mrs. Harrison
will inform you of all farther peculiar
particulars relative to the Young Lady's
Age & constitution ––– and indeed Sir
whatever I could further relate by Letter
will be much better exemplified upon the
Spot by Her, whose Good sense, Maternal
affection & regard to the Young Lady from
Her Infancy has in every instance made
impressions stronger than I can possibly
