My much esteemed Friend & Benefactor Mr Henry
{illeg} Presbyterian Minister in Comber Aged 50
About 9 Months Since (his Horse stumbling but not
falling) received a Sprain in the Small of his
Back
at the same time he had severe pain in
the Inner & upper Parts of his Thighs as I think in
the Adductor Muscles - attended with pain in the
Penis Rectraction of the Testicles & Difficulty in passing
his Urine which was high coloured & deposited
a Reddish Sediment
. This Complaint abated for a
time but has recurred at several Periods Since
The pain is chiefly felt in the Region of the Kidneys
Ureters Testicle & Penis- & is by him wholly
Imputed to the Fall or Stumble above mentioned
for I now recollect the Horse fell to his Knees- Mr
Henry has allways lived temperately is neither
corpulent nor lean. has been much subject to
Rheumatism for 15 years wch had nigh proved
fatal 10 years ago- he has perhaps been too much
in Bed & is rather liable to Turns of Spleen
