Mr Spalding Gordon's Case continued

In my last I made you acquainted that the Blister
in the crown of ↑the↑ head has been kept open, but the hair
preventing the adhesion of the dressing was obliged to
let it dry up, on which the pain in the head and neck
became more intense, for which a Blister was applied
to the hind part of the neck, & about the size of a
crown piece has since been kept open; - He still
complains much of the pain in the neck tho the tention
of the muscles is quite gone. The inflammation of the
Eyes is now inconsiderable; his urine as before; His
pulse from 74,, to 86, more regular and a degree fuller;
his appetite still poor; sleeps little; has had him sunday
times out in the open air; he bore it well; this day
having received strengthening infusion; began
with it as directed, it sat easy on his stomach
