Further Directions for Mr McCulloch.


1. Continue the Nervous Pills B, but
increase the Dose to 7 Pills three
times a Day.


2. At the End of every 3d Week, take
the Vomit E and after it a Dose of
the Purgative Tincture A.


3. During the whole of the 4th Week
take half a Drachm of the Powder
of Jesuits Bark every third hour.


4. At Bedtime take alongst with the
last Dose of the Bark the Dose
of Quieting Pills H.


The Issue to be continued & the same
Diet to be observed.


The Cold Bath to be used Twice
or Thrice a Week.

Receipt for Mr McCulloch.

Take half a drachm of powdered Peruvian bark. 32 doses of this sort may be made. Label: 32 Doses of Bark.

Take one grain of opium, two grains of extract of henbane, and six grains of extract of Peruvian Bark. Mix. and make three pills. Label: one Dose of the Quieting Pills H.


Prepare a Dozen such Doses, and
put them into different boxes, that
no more than the due proportion of
the principal Ingredients be taken in
one Dose.
