Fearing this letter, which was sent through 'Mr Douglas the Apothecary', may have miscarrried, Liddell subsequently includes a copy when writing to Cullen on 13 June 1777 (See ID:823).	16 April 1772

[DOC ID:823]	Letter from Andrew Liddell regarding the case of Mrs L, who 'suffered very great & long fatigue attending a sick Husband' some years ago, has 'seldom been free from Stomach complaints' since, and also has a vaginal discharge and a tumour in her breast. The letter also includes a copy of a letter sent to Cullen previously [by Thomas Scott, addressed to Liddell, ID:820] about an unnamed 'Lady from Orkney' with scrophulous complaints which was originally enclosed in a letter to Mr Douglas, the apothecary.	13 June 1772

[DOC ID:834]	Letter from Andrew Liddell on the 'Case of Mr Sinclair of Harpsdale', who has been 'troubled with a scorbutic eruption on the back of his hand'. Also contains an update on a scrophulous patient (identifiable from elsewhere as 'a Young Lady in Orkney') who has been following Cullen's directions.	18 July 1772
