Letter from Alexander Kellock, concerning the case of Mr Watson Carr, aged fifty, who suffers asthma attacks upon exposure to cold. Kellock reports on Carr's various symptoms and the treatments he has attempted. He also apologises as Carr's family situation means Cullen will not receive a full fee but Kellock intends to compensate Cullen by consulting him in as many cases as he possibly can.18 December 1783

Cullen does not find any of the new information provided by Kellock would change the content of his reply, but considers the absence of fever a positive development. The letter is neither addressed to Kellock, nor mentions Carr, but the linked to Mr Carr's case is inferred from corresponding dates and symptoms.6 January 1784
