He also reports briefly on Mr Leveck, who has not used the mercury injection and is unchanged, and on the death of Miss Brown. 26 November 1780

Letter from John Heysham concerning the case of Mr Leveck, a young man deaf since suffering from scarlet fever (subject of previous correspondence). His family reports that he also suffers from intermittent insanity. He is the bearer of the letter. Heysham states that he would also like Monro's opinion on the case. He asks for Cullen's comments on the case of Ann Liddle, and reports on his diabetes patient. He mentions enclosing the Bills of Mortality, although these are missing.9 August 1783
